While the Venus Hi-Gloss's highly polished lacquer compliments the Solid Engelmann Spruce soundboard, it brings the Solid Rosewood back and sides to life, highlighting the tonewood's natural beauty. This glossy exterior helps create a tone that is brighter than the Natural series, yet still retains a satisfyingly versatile aural range. The Venus shape has been a favourite since its launch back in 2001, giving a great tonal performance yet remaining manageable and comfortable for those long, marathon sessions. This FVHG Electro model features Shadow's acclaimed NanoFlex pickup technology plus the Shadow SH863 premap system, and is also available in the Natural Series (FV).
